The Bridge of Friendship establishes partnerships with media outlets and organisations that are committed to professional reporting and the promotion of non-hegemonic and cross-border dialogue in Southeastern Europe, and that have a genuine interest in understanding Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova.
Media partners practise the reciprocal reprinting of articles. Organisational partners either cooperate on specific projects or maintain regular professional exchanges. Academic partners facilitate greater depth of research and publication activity.
Crucially, The Bridge of Friendship promotes cross-border cooperation in the Ruse-Giurgiu area and beyond, including cross-border journalism. The Bridge of Friendship also donates to causes, initiatives and independent media whose activities contribute to pluralism.
